NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Tentative Budget of the City of Glens Falls, County of Warren, State of New York, for the Fiscal Year beginning on January 1, 2020, has been completed and filed in the Office of the City Clerk of said City, where it is available for inspection by any interested person at all reasonable hours.
The Proposed 2020 General Fund Budget is $18,729,703.01 with a property tax levy of $10,212,877.00, which represents a proposed property tax rate of $ 13.1660 per thousand of assessed valuation.
FURTHER NOTICE is hereby given that the City of Glens Falls, New York Common Council will hold a Public Hearing on the Proposed 2020 General Fund Budget on Tuesday, November 26, 2019 at 7:15 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers, 3rd floor, City Hall, 42 Ridge Street, Glens Falls, NY 12801.
The purpose of the Public Hearing is to discuss the Proposed General Fund Budget and that at such hearing any person may be heard in favor of or against the Proposed Budget as compiled, for or against any item or items therein contained.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Glens Falls Common Council will hold a Public Hearing on November 26, 2019 at 7:20 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers, 3rd floor, City Hall, 42 Ridge Street, Glens Falls, County of Warren, State of New York concerning the following:
Any resident of the City of Glens Falls is entitled to be heard on this matter at such public hearing. Copies of the proposed 2020 Water & Sewer Fund Budgets are available for review at the City Clerk’s Office, City Hall, 42 Ridge Street, Glens Falls, New York. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to allow public input on the 2020 Water Fund Budget of $ 3,349,925 and the 2020 Sewer Fund Budget of $ 6,530,331 and to discuss the setting of the 2020 Water & Sewer Rates.
