    Cornell Cooperative Extension offices in Warren and Washington Counties are collaborating to offer a Community Parenting Program via Zoom each Tuesday morning for the month of March from 10:00 am to noon. The 5-week series will focus on replacing ineffective or hurtful parenting styles with effective, child-friendly skills and will teach five basic parenting skills that highlight key parenting issues. The skills are applicable for parents with children of every age. The classes are free of charge but registration is required by February 23, 2021. Contact Cornell Cooperative Extension at 518-746-2560 to register. Registrants must have an email address and internet connection to participate.     The Salvation Army of Glens Falls, in cooperation with USDA Farmers to Families Food Box program, is offering a contactless drive-thru food distribution on Monday’s in March. ? On Monday’s in March1,8,15 22, 2021 10am- 12pm in the Six Flags parking lot located at 33 Round Pond Rd in Queensbury. The drive-thru is open to anyone in need and meant to ensure everyone has access to necessary supplemental food in these challenging times. The USDA Farmers to Families Food Box program is helping to distribute fresh food like produce, meat and dairy to families to ensure that all Americans have access to fresh wholesome food they need during the COVID-19 national emergency. This event is open to anyone in need of food. It is first come, first serve. All volunteers will follow CDC guidelines by wearing appropriate masks and gloves while actively practicing social distancing.
