Blood Drive2021-01-27T10:00:00Glens Falls Community Drive, Distance Saves Lives As you are likely well aware, with the pandemic fewer people are donating blood which has resulted in a statewide shortage. It’s never good when blood banks run low, but it’s also especially problematic if there’s an uptick in new COVID-19 cases that can lead to a variety of complicated conditions that often require blood. Here are some additional details: • Location of the Drive: 333 Glen Street, Glens Falls • Times of the Drive 10:00 am to 4:00 pm for 7 Weeks • Day of the Week – Wednesday (11/4, 11/18,12/2,12/16,12/30,1/13,1/27) • We are encouraging diversity and inclusion and welcome donors to combat sickle cell disease https://www.redcrossblood.org/donate- The need for blood is constant & only volunteer donors can fulfill that need for patients in our community. Nationwide, someone needs a unit of blood every 2 to 3 seconds and most of us will need blood in our lifetime.Thank you for supporting the American Red Cross blood program!
