April 5, 2020, 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM @ Cornell Cooperative Extension of Warren County
The art of bread baking is an ancient one, but one that is still very much in use today. If you have wanted to learn how to bake yeast and batter breads, then this class is for you! Come and join us for a cooking workshop where we will make – and eat – some yummy treats. We will learn the basics of bread making, and will make some yeast-based soft pretzels, focaccia bread, and some Amish Friendship Bread starter for participants to take home. This class will be held on Sunday, April 5, from 1-3 PM, and will be part of a series on sustainable cooking. These family-friendly workshops will be held at Cornell Cooperative Extension of Warren County, 377 Schroon River Road in Warrensburg, NY. Each class has a fee of $15 for the class and all materials, and pre-registration is required.
