Cornell Cooperative Extension will be offing “PS: It Works! Parenting Program” on five consecutive Tuesdays starting June 1st from Noon to 1:00pm. This program is designed for parents/caregivers of children whose ages are from toddler to teen. Learn tried and true basic parenting skills in this interactive program. We will explore five skills that you can implement in your role as parent/caregiver. This free program will be held via Zoom (must have an email address to connect). Come and join us for a series of three free webinars that will teach you not only to be able to confidently identify wild edibles, but also learn what parts of the plants are safely edible, when they should be harvested, and also how they can be prepared. The webinars, offered by Cornell Cooperative Extension, and instructed by educators Pat Banker, John Bowe, and MB (Marybeth) Mitcham, will be held from 7-8 PM on three consecutive Tuesdays in June: June 8th, 15th, and 22nd. A LOCAL LAW TO AMEND THE CODEOF THE CITY OF GLENS FALLS,VEHICLES AND TRAFFIC, CHAPTER 208-48, SCHEDULE I: TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS, TO REMOVE THE TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNAL AT THE INTERSECTION OF THRID AND STAPLE STREETS AND TO AMEND SECTON 208-54, SCHEDULE VII TO INCLUDE A FOUR-WAY STOP AT THE INTERSECTION OF THIRD AND STAPLE STREETS.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Glens Falls Common Council will hold a Public Hearing on Tuesday, June 22,2021at 7:25 p.m. in the Common Council Chambers, City Hall, 42 Ridge Street, Glens Falls, New York. The purpose of the Public Hearing is to confirm passage of the Local Law as referenced above in the previous paragraph.
